Electrician James Dempsey is one of the newest members of the TCA Electric family, joining our team earlier this year. He’s already made a great impression with his electrical skills and work ethic, and we’re excited to have him on our team. Favourite thing about your job: I love working on unique projects, but especially seeing the clients’ faces after the project is complete!
Favourite part of being on the TCA team: Definitely the people that work here! It makes all the difference coming to work every day with people you enjoy working with.
What do you find most rewarding about your work?
Seeing customers satisfied with our work is very rewarding for me. I also enjoy the learning curve of trying new things and expanding my knowledge as an electrician.
What do you like to do in your free time?
My interests outside of work include UFC, football, finishing and of course – Conor McGregor
Favourite sports team(s): Chelsea Football. Come on you blues!
Is there a particular type of project you prefer working on? If so, why?
I prefer working on residential projects. From my earlier electrical experience, I have done a lot of commercial work already. I enjoy having the opportunity to learn new things on residential electrical projects.
Is there a project you completed with TCA that stands out as a favourite?
The project that stands out the most is the commercial project we completed on Broadway. This project was a mix of things I have done previously as well as new components that I had to learn during the project. I was involved in the project from start to finish, so I enjoyed seeing the end result. The project included powering a lot of heavy duty equipment, such as chargers, motors and machines.
